The Canadian Amputee Hockey Committee was established in 2001 for the purpose of promoting ice hockey for all amputees regardless of age, gender, race or physical ability.

Since its inception, the team iced by the Committee has proven to be a force to be reckoned with…undefeated in international competition, and the winners of 5 consecutive ISIHF World Championships.

2011 will be a monumental year in the history of the Committee. It is a year to forge forward with events such as our first Military Outreach in Valcartier, Quebec, open training camps, and the selection of yet another National Roster to represent Canada at the ISIHF World Championships in Finland in 2012. It is also a year to look back, reflect, and be proud of 'Ten Years of Excellence'.
